King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard - Alien Metal (180g Recycled Vinyl)

King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard - Alien Metal, 180g Recycled Vinyl, Poster, Packshot at Toucan Records

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard take another sharp turn on Alien Metal, their 28th studio album and one of the most electronic records in their catalog. Growing from the band's 2025 rave shows and built around the band's Eurorack modular synth rig known as Nathan, the album pushes past the electronic experiments of The Silver Cord into full-scale EDM, psytrance, jungle, breakbeat, and techno. "Sapience" opens with a pulsing electronic attack, while "Level 5" leans hard into rapid breakbeats and rave energy. "Superheavy, Supercritical" twists vocoder-treated vocals into the rhythm, and "Rapid Alpha Decay" drops into a darker section before the record circles toward "Atomic Collapse." The lyrics frame technology, artificial intelligence, and bodily transformation as part of a dystopian future, giving the dance-floor momentum a distinctly King Gizzard concept. This 180g vinyl is made from 100% recycled plastic using injection-mold technology and includes a large double-sided poster in a high-gloss jacket.

Pierce The Veil - Misadventures (Limited Edition of 4,000, Picture Disc)

Pierce The Veil - Misadventures, Limited Edition Picture Disc, Packshot at Toucan RecordsPierce The Veil pushed their post-hardcore sound into a more restless, melodic direction on Misadventures, the 2016 follow-up to Collide With The Sky. Produced by Dan Korneff, the album moves quickly between sharp guitar bursts, pop-punk hooks, breakdowns, and quieter passages, giving songs like "Dive In" and "Texas Is Forever" a constant sense of motion. "Floral & Fading" pulls back with a more melodic approach, while "Circles" pairs one of the band's biggest choruses with lyrics shaped by the 2015 Paris attacks. Vic Fuentes' writing repeatedly returns to relationships, anxiety, and emotional fallout, but the album rarely stays in one musical lane for long. "Today I Saw The Whole World" and "Bedless" keep that contrast going with shifting dynamics and layered guitar work. This 10th anniversary edition marks the first picture-disc pressing of Misadventures, limited to 4,000 copies and housed in a die-cut jacket that leaves the disc visible through the front cover for display.

Olivia Dean - The Art Of Loving (Limited Edition, 180g Silver Vinyl)

Olivia Dean - The Art Of Loving, Limited Edition, 180g Silver Colored Vinyl, Packshot at Toucan RecordsOlivia Dean expands the soul-pop language of her debut on The Art Of Loving, a second album built around romantic, platonic, and self-love rather than one fixed idea of relationships. "Nice To Each Other" pairs a light piano figure with lyrics about closeness that still leaves room for independence, while "So Easy (To Fall In Love)" leans into a breezier, classic pop-soul swing. "Man I Need" brings more rhythmic lift and a larger chorus, and "Baby Steps" turns toward the slower work of recovering after a relationship changes. Dean and producer Zach Nahome keep the arrangements detailed but uncluttered, using piano, Rhodes, horns, percussion, guitar, and layered vocals to let small musical changes carry weight from song to song. That restraint suits Dean's conversational delivery and gives the record room to move between flirtation, uncertainty, affection, and self-knowledge without overstating any of them. This limited edition is half-speed mastered and pressed on heavyweight 180g silver vinyl.

Sonny Clark - The Art Of The Trio (Blue Note Tone Poet, 2LP, 180g Audiophile Vinyl, Gatefold)

Sonny Clark - The Art Of The Trio, Blue Note Tone Poet Series, 2LP, 180g Audiophile Vinyl, Gatefold, Packshot at Toucan RecordsSonny Clark's gift for turning familiar standards into something unmistakably his own is at the center of The Art Of The Trio, a collection drawn from three Blue Note sessions recorded in 1957 and 1958. Clark works with Paul Chambers and Jymie Merritt on bass and Philly Joe Jones and Wes Landers on drums, keeping the format intimate while giving songs such as "I Cover The Waterfront," "Blues In The Night," and "Dancing In The Dark" plenty of room to breathe. His playing is elegant but never delicate, balancing hard bop drive with a relaxed swing and melodic clarity that made him one of Blue Note's most distinctive pianists. The 2LP set also gathers alternate takes and material that originally appeared on later Japanese releases, bringing these trio sessions together in one package. Produced by Joe Harley, this Tone Poet edition is mastered all-analog by Kevin Gray from the original tapes, pressed on 180g vinyl at RTI, and housed in a deluxe tip-on gatefold with a booklet of liner notes and Francis Wolff photographs.

Cannonball Adderley - Somethin' Else (Blue Note Essentials Series, Standard Weight Vinyl)

Cannonball Adderley - Somethin' Else, Blue Note Essentials Series, Standard Weight Vinyl, Packshot at Toucan Records

Cannonball Adderley's Somethin' Else is one of the defining small-group jazz albums of the late 1950s, pairing his warm, agile alto saxophone with Miles Davis on trumpet in a quintet completed by Hank Jones, Sam Jones, and Art Blakey. "Autumn Leaves" opens with spacious interplay and a patient build, allowing Adderley and Davis to shape the melody from different angles before stretching into their solos. "Love For Sale" moves with a quicker pulse, while the title track uses a memorable call-and-response figure to set up sharper exchanges between alto and trumpet. "One For Daddy-O" gives the rhythm section more room to push underneath the horns, and "Dancing In The Dark" closes the set with Adderley carrying the melody in a more lyrical setting. Recorded for Blue Note in 1958, the album remains the only Blue Note LP issued under Adderley's name. This Blue Note Essential Vinyl Series edition is mastered from a high-resolution digital source and pressed on standard-weight 140g vinyl.
