Pierce The Veil push post-hardcore toward bigger melodies and sharper contrasts on Misadventures, pairing Vic Fuentes' high, urgent vocals with rapid guitar changes, heavy rhythm sections, and choruses built for maximum lift. The band's fourth studio album moves between frantic passages and more melodic turns without settling into one pace, giving songs room to switch direction while keeping the guitars, bass, and drums active and prominent.

Dive In opens with a long build before breaking into quick tempo shifts and a large chorus, while Texas Is Forever drives harder with fast guitars and a more aggressive vocal attack. The Divine Zero balances a tense verse with a broad, melodic refrain, and Circles turns a serious subject into one of the album's most immediate songs through its ringing guitar hook and repeated chorus. Together, the tracks show how Pierce The Veil combine post-hardcore intensity with pop-punk hooks and dramatic changes in pace.

Recorded with producer Dan Korneff after a long writing process that took Vic Fuentes through several cities, Misadventures followed Collide With The Sky after a four-year gap. Circles was written in response to the Bataclan attack and focuses on friends helping each other in crisis. This limited edition vinyl record is the first Misadventures picture disc and comes in a die-cut sleeve.
