After taking 2025 off from releasing albums, Zach Bryan returned with his most ambitious work yet. With Heaven On Top debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 134,000 units, marking Bryan's second US chart-topper. Released January 9, 2026 via Belting Bronco Records, the album contains 25 songs all written and produced by Zach Bryan. The album topped both country and streaming charts with 130.32 million first-week streams.

Recorded across three houses in Oklahoma, With Heaven On Top expands Bryan's sound with strings, horns, and layered instrumentation. "Runny Eggs" opens with wistful steel guitar, while "Cannonball" showcases fragile indie-folk poetry. The politically charged "Bad News" addresses contemporary American issues directly. "Santa Fe" delivers high-energy Americana rock, "Anyways" channels motivational grit, and "Slicked Back" draws Bruce Springsteen comparisons with its rolling intensity. Bryan's band features Noah Legros, Zephyr Avalon, Keenan O'Meara, and Nate Head, with string arrangements by Ana Monwah Lei and Samantha Uzbay.
