Turnstile - Time & Space [Black Vinyl LP, Gatefold]

Turnstile's second studio album arrived on February 23, 2018 as the Baltimore band's major label debut through Roadrunner Records. Recorded in 2017/18 with producer Will Yip at his Studio 4 recording facility in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, the 13-track collection features the first studio appearance of rhythm guitarist Pat McCrory. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard Heatseekers chart and number fifteen on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart.

Lead single "Real Thing" arrived in November 2017, followed by "Generator" in December, which introduced psychedelic elements blending hardcore with funk-infused grooves. "I Don't Wanna Be Blind" served as the main single in February 2018 and later appeared on the WWE 2K22 soundtrack. Additional tracks include "Moon," featuring vocals from Sheer Mag's Tina Halladay, and "Right to Be," with additional production from Diplo. The album runs just over 25 minutes and balances aggressive hardcore energy with moments of unexpected musical exploration.

Kerrang! magazine awarded the album their full 5-K rating and later named it the best album of 2018 in their year-end list. The album holds an aggregated score of 81 on Metacritic based on 12 reviews. This black vinyl pressing in a gatefold jacket delivers the record that established Turnstile as one of hardcore's most inventive and forward-thinking bands.
