The Cure opened Wish with a brighter surface than Disintegration, but the 1992 album still carries the band's sense of scale, emotional drag, and layered atmosphere. Songs stretch outward without losing their melodic center, which is a major reason this record became the group's best-selling and Grammy-nominated release. This indie exclusive 2LP edition is the 30th anniversary remaster on 180g black vinyl, issued through Rhino's Start Your Ear Off Right series (SYEOR).

"High" and "Friday I'm in Love" give the album two of its most recognizable hooks, while "A Letter to Elise" turns inward without losing the record's sweep.
