Hailing from New Orleans' Seventh Ward, rap duo and cousins $uicideboy$, comprised of members $lick $loth and Ruby da Cherry, got their start in 2014. Released to critical acclaim in the underground rap scene, the album debuted at number 9 on the US Billboard 200 with 49,000 album-equivalent units in its first week sales. The album chronicles semi-autobiographical stories of the duo's encounters with depression, drug addiction and suicidal ideation. This limited edition silver vinyl pressing delivers the raw intensity of an album that helped define the sound of underground hip hop in the late 2010s.

The duo's music is a mixture of trap, horrorcore, cloud rap, and scream rap, with elements of punk and even R&B. Opening with "King Tulip," the album moves through the aggressive "Bring Out Your Dead," the introspective "Nicotine Patches," and the menacing "10,000 Degrees." "Carrollton" serves as a dirty-south banger with hyper-distorted, deadpanned vocals, while "Long Gone (Save Me From This Hell)" shows the duo's lack of motivation, with extensive drug use often seen as a solution to every problem. The album features 14 tracks that balance visceral trap production with deeply personal lyrics about addiction and mental health. The duo strives to create clever, thought-provoking music that continues to push boundaries, with $lick saying their mission is making music for people who don't know who they are and where they belong.

Housed in a full-color single sleeve jacket with a full-color double sided lyric insert, the pressing preserves every detail of the duo's abrasive, self-produced beats. $uicideboy$ have gained a cult following in the hip-hop scene, in part due to their niche subject matter involving subjects scarcely seen in rap such as suicidal ideation and depression. The album's exploration of dark themes, combined with production influenced by Three 6 Mafia and Memphis rap, creates a sonic experience that resonates with listeners navigating similar struggles. This silver colored vinyl pressing includes a printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics and credits.
