Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here receives an expansive 50th anniversary treatment in a deluxe box that brings the original album together with studio rarities, alternate versions, demos, new mixes, concert audio, and archival material. The four crystal clear vinyl LPs include the five-track album, nine bonus recordings from the sessions, and a separate Live At Wembley 1974 record. The collection also adds two CDs and a Blu-ray for a broader view of the album's creation and performance history.

"Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Pts. 1-5)" and "Welcome To The Machine" open the original album before "Have A Cigar," "Wish You Were Here," and the concluding sections of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond." The bonus LPs move deeper into the sessions through "Wine Glasses," an alternate "Have A Cigar," a version of "Wish You Were Here" featuring Stephane Grappelli on violin, two early forms of "The Machine Song," and a newly assembled stereo mix of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Pts. 1-9)." The fourth LP pairs two extended Wembley performances from 1974.

The Blu-ray expands the set beyond the vinyl program with the original album in a 2025 Dolby Atmos mix, the 2011 5.1 surround mix, the 1975 stereo and quad mixes, nine studio rarities, the restored 1975 Los Angeles concert recording, three period screen films, and a Storm Thorgerson short film. Physical extras include a replica Japanese 7-inch single of "Have A Cigar" backed with "Welcome To The Machine," a hardcover photo book, a comic-book tour program, and a Knebworth poster. The four crystal clear LPs are pressed on 140g vinyl and housed in foldover jackets with printed inner sleeves.

The original album remains central, but the demos, alternate takes, complete new stereo mix of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond," and Wembley performances make this far more than a color-vinyl reissue.
