Nas and Hit-Boy close their six-album collaboration with Magic 3, the third entry in their Magic series and Nas' seventeenth studio album. Released in 2023, it pairs Nas' detailed accounts of his career, Queens upbringing, and personal relationships with Hit-Boy's sample-driven production. The fifteen tracks have just one featured guest, Lil Wayne, leaving Nas to carry the stories and reflections that define this final chapter of their partnership.

"Fever" opens with Nas looking back on his rise and the work behind his longevity, while "TSK" addresses rivalry and the pressures surrounding success. "Never Die" brings in Lil Wayne for the album's only guest verse, trading seasoned perspectives on survival and reputation. "Based On True Events" recounts incidents through compact storytelling, and its second part returns to the same narrative approach. Elsewhere, "I Love This Feeling" connects the rewards of making music with Nas' commitment to recording.

Nas returns to Queens memories, ambition, and the personal cost of success throughout Magic 3. "Sitting With My Thoughts" weighs the people and experiences behind his career, while "Japanese Soul Bar" reflects on his own influence and place in rap history. The final song, "1-800-Nas-&-Hit," closes the partnership that produced this trilogy and the three King's Disease albums.
