Kings Of Leon - O My Beloved [2 LP, Red & Light Blue Vinyl]

Family history takes a central role in Kings of Leon's tenth studio album, O My Beloved. Brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill and their cousin Matthew produced the record themselves for the first time, drawing on childhood memories, gratitude and the lives they have built together. The Nashville rock band's 13-song collection includes the singles "My Whole World" and "Cold Blue Dawn," and places their shared history at the heart of the writing.

"Intro" begins with sounds of a city giving way to guitar and Caleb Followill repeating the album's title. "My Whole World" moves from a quiet opening into an acoustic-led song about returning to family and appreciating the present. The single "Cold Blue Dawn" continues the album's early sequence, while "The Hand" and "Rose" follow on the first LP. Later titles including "Feel The Love," "Blue Jeans And Diamonds" and "Forever Endeavor" reinforce the personal direction the band has described for the collection.

Love Tap Records issues this indie-exclusive, limited edition 2LP on "Thicker Than Water" red and light blue Ghostly colored vinyl. The widespine jacket includes a 12-inch insert and vintage family photographs. Virgin Music Group handles distribution. The band members produced the album without an outside producer, bringing the recording decisions back into the family at the center of its songs.
