Dance Gavin Dance's eleventh studio album, Pantheon, introduces Andrew Wells as the band's primary clean vocalist alongside Jon Mess, with Will Swan and Matt Mingus carrying forward the group's intricate guitar and rhythm work. The 13-song set keeps their post-hardcore foundation intact while moving through math-rock detail, melodic choruses, heavier passages, and funk-inflected turns. It is the band's first full-length without Tilian Pearson.

"Animal Surgery" opens the album with a long-form mix of screamed vocals, melodic sections, and shifting guitar patterns, while "Midnight at McGuffy's" gives Wells a prominent clean-vocal showcase. "Space Cow Initiation Ritual" breaks sharply toward funk with guest George Clinton, and "Yikes!" returns to the band's heavier side with contrasting vocal approaches. "Descend to Chaos" closes the record with layered guitars, forceful drumming, and a final exchange between Wells and Mess over a dense final section.

This limited 2LP edition is both a Z2 Exclusive and an Indie Exclusive, pressed in Sea Blue and Baby Blue Smush with Canary Yellow and Lemon Splatter vinyl. The 13 tracks are spread over four sides and housed in a gatefold jacket. The color pattern combines two blue tones with two yellow splatter shades, creating the blue-and-yellow appearance shown in the product images.
