C418 - Wanderstop Soundtrack [2LP Yellow Palm Colored Vinyl]

C418's music for the video game Wanderstop follows Alta, a former fighter who takes a job in a tea shop while facing exhaustion and uncertainty. Known for composing the original Minecraft soundtrack, C418 develops this score around ambient electronics, soft, gentle piano passages, and cues for the game's shifting situations. This indie exclusive 2LP vinyl record collects selected music from the original score on Yellow Palm colored vinyl.

"Introduction" establishes the score's unhurried pace, while "The Fighter" connects the music to Alta's past as a warrior. "Wanderstop Part 2" is one of several cues named after the tea shop itself, returning attention to the place where much of the story unfolds. Later selections move through the tea-themed sequences, including the extended "Cinnamon Part 7" and the quieter "Matcha Part 2." The selection moves between longer compositions and brief cues that originally accompanied specific moments in the game.

Wanderstop concerns burnout, recovery, and accepting change. Its tea shop setting calls for cues accompanying everyday tasks, conversations, and Alta's memories as she questions her former life as a warrior. The gatefold jacket carries artwork by game artist Nat F., created for this soundtrack edition. The two records select 30 pieces from C418's 89-track score for a program of selected highlights.
