Originally released September 11, 1995, The Great Escape captured the spirit of Britpop at its peak and marked a defining moment in Blur's career. This December 2025 30th anniversary edition is a special half speed mastered, double-disc, colored vinyl pressing, beautifully housed in all-new artwork by visual artist and designer Tony Hung. The set includes one yellow vinyl LP and one blue vinyl LP in a gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves.

Where Blur's breakthrough album Parklife was a celebration of the working class, The Great Escape concentrates on the suburbs, featuring a cast of characters all trying to cope with the numbing pressures of modern life.
