On Out Of Exile, Audioslave moves further into riff-driven hard rock built around Chris Cornell's full-range vocal attack, Tom Morello's pedal-heavy guitar work, and a rhythm section pulled from Rage Against The Machine's heavier side. The title track turns exile into a survival statement, while the 2LP 180g black vinyl record format gives this newly remastered edition room for the full twelve-song album without compressing it onto one crowded disc.

"Your Time Has Come" opens with a marching pulse and a chorus aimed at defiance, while "Out of Exile" uses a steadier climb before Cornell pushes the title phrase into release. "Be Yourself" slows the album down with a plainly stated self-acceptance lyric, and "Doesn't Remind Me" shifts into a lighter verse before the guitars harden around the chorus. "Drown Me Slowly" brings the band back to a darker, weightier attack, giving the first half of the album a wider range than the singles alone suggest.
